2006/7/5 Bleach Ep87After the failed attempt to seal away Baura and the Bountou, Rangiku and Chad, with Nova on his back, try to make a run for it. This is useless because of Baura's teleporting ability. Rangiku considers using shunpo to escape, but she knows that attempting to take Chad and Nova with her would greatly slow her down, meaning she wouldn't be able to get away. Chad realises what she is thinking and tells her to save herself. Rangiku dismisses the idea immediately. Seeing no other way out, Rangiku uses her shunpo to put some distance between them and the Bountou, but Baura appears in front of them and lunges. Just as it seems that the three are about to be swallowed, Nova finds the strength to teleport them to a reasonably safe location, even in his crippled state.
Safe for now, Chad sets Nova down and Rangiku begins to rethink their strategy. Chad suggests they render the Bountou's doll useless, then catch it to free Ururu. Rangiku reminds him of the difference in strength between them and the enemy. It is difficult enough for them to evade Baura when its attacking from a different dimension, let alone making a counter-attack. Chad suggests they have someone become the decoy again and attack Baura on its underside, where it's probably most vulnerable. Rangiku says that whatever they do, they should move out of the open first, as it is dangerous. Chad proposes that they take Nova out of his gigai, surprising Rangiku, as she hadn't known he was a modified soul. Chad asks Rangiku to remove his soul capsule as she's a shinigami, but Nova claims that he is fine, since as long as his soul capsule is safe, he can't die.
As Nova and Chad quarrel about this, Rangiku formulates a plan that she believes has a chance of success. If Rangiku combines her kidou with Nova's ability to sense Bountou, they may be able to locate Baura's whereabouts. Nova agrees to this and allows his soul capsule to be extracted. Rangiku places it inside the stuffed animal. Nova grabs onto Rangiku's arm and begins synchronising their power. Rangiku recites an incantation to perform the Binding Art 58: Catching the Footprints, Following the Sparrow. A jet of pink light shoots into the sky, originating from the spell circle that Rangiku had drawn. At first she cannot locate the Bountou and wonders if its reiatsu is different. However, shortly after, she discovers that Baura is approaching from above. Baura appears from the side of a sky scraper and begins to plunge down. The Bountou thinks that he will not be expected from above, and is surprised to see Chad in a confident stance, looking straight at him. Chad collects his reiatsu and leaps into the air, smashing the Doll's underside. He continues to pound it until it spits out Ururu and the other things it had swallowed. Ururu lands safely on a branch, saying "I'm back," before fainting and embedding her head in the leaves of the branch. Realising his defeat, the old Bountou decides to retreat.
Rangiku suspects Chad had been holding back when he attacked, as he could've easily destroyed the Bountou. He says that if he had went all out, he wouldn't have been able to save Ururu. Rangiku proceeds to congratulate him, but he promptly faints and falls on his face.
In Soul Society, 12th division captain Kurotsuchi Mayuri has discovered his database of information regarding the Bountou. He discovers a secret and wishes he had a Bountou specimen to study. He doesn't have enough time to go himself, nor persuade the shinigamis in the real world to do it for him. As he is thinking about this, he comes across the reason as to why the Bountou had needed a Quincy; someone who can constrain spirit particles and disperse them, forcefully converting that power into strength. He sends Nemu to take Research Project 9141 to the real world and locate the last Quincy left: Ishida Uryu.
Meanwhile, Madaramae Ikkaku (3rd seat of the 11th division) is complaining about having to guard the entrance gate. His fellow 11th division comrades remind him that it was Captain Zaraki's order. As Madaramae turns around to argue, a red light flashes past him and destroys a section of the gate. For a while the intruder stays hidden in the curtain of smoke, then leaps onto the top of a building and begins running on the rooftops. Madaramae follows and it seems the enemy has concealed both his reiastu and physical form. The other squads are alerted and the captains begin assembling. Madaramae sees a tile break off in front of him and releases his Zanpakutou, but is quickly struck back down to the ground. He tries to retaliate but cannot see the attacker as he gets away.
Elsewhere, Kuchiki Byakuya is given a letter from the 1st division captain, Yamamoto. Byakuya scans through it and comments on 'it' being such a pity.
Zaraki comes, triggering Madaramae immediate apology, but the captain says he doesn't care about the intruder, as if he was strong, he wouldn't need to hide himself.
In some remote location, Ishida is practicing resurrecting his Quincy powers. He has a flashback of his master teaching him how to shoot the Quincy arrows. He finds the strength to generate the bow and arrow, but it quickly dissipates and he drops down to his knees.
The episode is concluded with a new ED! 2006/6/23 Bleach Ep86The episode starts with Matsumoto Rangiku leaping across the rooftops, in search for the other three Shinigami who came to the real world with her. As she is moving, she sees Chad’s group on the ground. Chad is with Ururu, Nova and the old-looking Bountou. Matsumoto, not knowing that the old guy is the enemy, jumps down and cheerfully greets Chad. She asks them what they are doing and Chad points at the Bountou, indicating he is their enemy. She doesn’t believe him at first, but then the Bountou releases his Doll and disappears into the ground. The Bountou resurfaces riding a whale. Matsumoto tries to attack the doll as it is underground (but actually in another dimension) and gets her Zanpakutou stuck in the concrete. The doll is about to swallow her but she is saved by Nova’s warping ability. Mastumoto thanks Nova but he zips up his mask. Matsumoto gets annoyed but it is actually because Nova is blushing.
The doll, Baura, resurfaces and the Bountou informs Chad and the others about Baura’s space-manipulating ability. Baura is able to make rips between dimensions and move freely between them. The Bountou also comments on Nova’s similar ability, but stating that his doll’s capabilities are far better than Nova’s. Matsumoto, tired of speaking, releases her Zanpakutou, Haineko. The blade turns to dust and sweeps toward the enemy. Baura opens its mouth, preparing to swallow the dust. Seeing the danger, Matsumoto quickly recalls her Soul Slayer. The Bountou explains that Baura’s mouth leads to another dimension, so if it had sucked in the dust, Matsumoto would have lost her weapon.
Matsumoto takes out a voice transmitter linked to Soul Society. She asks to freeze all dimensional space for a 360 degree radius around her current location and to protect the souls within. She also asks the same thing for the other vice-captains. She is then informed of Renji’s bad condition.
Chad materialises his weapon (the glove-like thing which I don’t know the name of) and attacks the doll, but misses as Baura shifts into another dimension. It resurfaces under Chad (which seems to be its only means of attack) but he is able to detect the doll’s presence just in time. Matsumoto jumps into the air and uses Destructive Art 4: White Lightning (the one that Kuchiki Byakuya used on Ichigo during their fight), but Baura evades the attack. Matsumoto continues firing, but Nova informs her that it is futile to attack the Bountou while it is in another dimension. It then goes for Chad again. Chad fires his (whatever it’s called) beam, but the doll simply swallows it. Matsumoto pulls him out of the way, into the air, but Baura changes direction and leaps into the sky as well. They are saved by Ururu leaping to impossible heights and kneeing the doll into the ground.
The group retreat the rooftops of nearby high-rise buildings, thinking that they are safe their. Matsumoto asks Nova if he can detect the Bountou while he is in another dimension. Nova replies that he can only detect him while is just about to return to this dimension. Chad asks how the enemy can detect where they are and Nova suggests that he is using something similar to sonar. Matsumoto asks if they can trace this back to the Bountou, but Nova says it is too weak. They give up on the idea. Suddenly, Baura appears by coming through a nearby building, lunging straight at Chad. Ururu pushes him out of the way but ends up being eaten by the doll.
Chad, Nova and Matsumoto make a run for it, but the Bountou returns in front of them. Matsumoto releases her Zanpakutou again and carves out a slab of the roof they are standing on, making them fall several stories below. It also slices through a billboard above, causing it to fall on top of the Bountou. The Bountou evades the falling object, giving the others a chance to escape. Nova leads Matsumoto and Chad into a narrow alley, informing them that Baura can’t reach small spaces. Chad is feeling responsible for Ururu’s demise, thinking about how useless his powerful fists are. Nova comes up with a plan, saying he will force the Bountou into his own dimension. This would cancel out the dimension in Baura’s stomach and free Ururu.
Matsumoto steps out into the open, calling for the Bountou. For a short period of time, nothing happens. Baura appears underneath Matsumoto and she uses her Shunpo to evade the attack. After several more attacks, it looks like Baura has caught Matsumoto, but she has jammed the doll’s mouth open with her Zanpakutou. As the doll struggles to spit (or swallow) her out, Chad grabs its tail and begins to swing it around. He throws Baura straight at Nova, who attempts to suck him into his own dimension. The Bountou counters, but then Chad comes and punches Baura, forcing him into Nova’s dimension. At first it seems as if they have won, but Baura creates another dimension rift and reappears from out of Nova’s chest.
The Bountou approaches Matsumoto, Chad and the fallen Nova, telling them that they are 100 years too young to seal him away. He then tells them that he will finish them off.
Note: There will be no bleach next week. Bleach episode 87 will air in 2 weeks, on the 4th of July. 2006/6/22 Bleach Ep85Mabashi explains what his doll does (entering someone’s body and controlling them). He tells Rukia to kill Orihime and she throws her into the air. She is caught by her five fairies. Orihime begs Rukia to come to her senses but Rukia continues to attack. Rukia uses her Destructive Art 33 to attack, which quickly drains her of her energy. Orihime uses her shield reject to defend herself, but is being overpowered. Rizu, the doll, takes Rukia out of her gigai and she begins to attack with her Zanpakutou. Orhime refuses to fight Rukia as she is her friend. She reflects back to her experiences in Soul Society and how she was determined to save Rukia.
Ichigo takes Keigo to Urahara’s shop but collapses. Both of them are treated.
Cloud comes up with an idea to attack the Bountou instead of Rukia. Orihime claims they can’t do that either as the Bountou is also human. Eventually, she decides to attack. She launches her Kotenzanshun (her attack using her fairy Tsubaki and muttering ‘I reject!’) Rukia gets in the way and is wounded by the attack.
Rukia is about to cut Orihime but she is saved by Hisagi Shuuhei, 9th squad vice-captain of the Gotei 13. He attempts to kill Mabashi but is obstructed by Rukia, so he has no choice but to cut her down as well. Mabashi orders Rukia to attack, but for a short time Rukia fights her controlling doll. In this time, she tells Orihime to shoot her. Shuuhei prepares to finish Rukia, when Orihime decides to do it. Rukia begins muttering her chant and fires her Destructive Art 33, but this is easily blocked by Orihime’s shield. Orihime calmly walks up to Rukia as she tries to attack. Orihime embraces Rukia then uses her rejection attack, forcing the doll out of her body.
Shuuhei tells Mabashi that he won’t forgive him and lunges. The attack is stopped by Ichinose, confirming Shuuhei’s suspicions that he had joined the Bountou. Ichinose retreats, carrying Mabashi on his back. The episode concludes with a 'happy reunion scene.' 2006/6/17 Bleach Ep84The show starts off with a quick replay of the last 5 minutes of episode 83, where Kira Izuru appears after Ichigo frees himself of his Hollow side. In Urahara's shop, Hanatarou of the 6th squad (the healer who helped Ichigo in Soul Society) to tend to Renji and the boy he saved. He quickly gets to work.
After Cloud is stabbed in the shoulder by the female Bountou, her twin Dolls tell her to let Orihime and Rukia regroup, so that the fight will be more interesting. Cloud gets up, explaining that whatever happens to his Gigai he can't be killed. The three then attempt to run away, but the Bountou goes after them. She throws her sword at the trio, but it is blocked by Mabashi (the Bountou who Kariya forced to drink the purified souls). Mabashi says he will take it from there, and the two Bountou have a quick fight before the female Bountou retreats.
Mabashi, who has released his Doll, begin assaulting Orihime, Cloud and Rukia. After a lot of flying around, the Doll becomes serious and begins to wreak havoc on the surrounding buildings. The Doll then pierces itself into Rukia's chest, and sudddenly her eyes become dark and dull. It is quite obvious now that she has been possessed by the Doll.
Back to Ichigo. Kira begins to fight with Daruku. He brings out his Soul Slayer, Wabisuke. Kira does not look as if e is winning at first, but Daruku begins to feel heavier as the fight progresses. Kira explains that Wabisuke doubles the weight of anything it cuts. Meanwhile, Ichigo is trying to tae Keigo to Urahara, but Gowa stands in his way. He tries to cut him down, but Gowa easily overpowers him. I don't knoiw why but Ichigo is depicted to be very weak in the recent fights. Ichigo, who is meant to be at Captain level, cannot even defeat Gowa, a mere human. Sure he's bleeding all over, but we've all seen Ichigo in action before. He can endure a few cuts. Kira defeats Daruku after doubling her weight. Ichigo wants to finish the fight with Gowa, but he returns Daruku and disapperas into the shadow of a building. Now why couldn't Ichigo run after him? It's not as if Bountous can teleport. The writers just made this part convenient, not knowing how to finish the fight...
Rukia, who is now possessed, obeys Mabashi's orders to attack Orihime. She grabs Orihime's collar and begins to choke her... 2006/6/14 Bleach Ep83This episode doesn’t progress much and just reveals some of Gowa’s past. Firstly though, Rukia, Inoue and Cloud are fighting with the female Bountou, but Rukia’s attacks have no effect. She is struck down a single kick. Rukia then plans to chant a spell, but as the Bountou is too fast, she wouldn’t have enough time. Cloud uses his transformation ability to transform into Renji, copying his skills as well. I’m not sure why he doesn’t just transform into a Bountou, though it may be because Renji is in his Shinigami form (or maybe it’s because he’s unconscious… I really don’t know). Cloud attacks the Bountou giving Rukia enough time to chant the spell. After Rukia completes the spell, she launches an overcharged “Destructive Art 33: Blue Fire, Crash Down”, but the Bountou evades that as well. Cloud then gets stabbed and reverts back to his normal form.
The story’s focus changes and follows Ichigo’s and Gowa’s conversation. Gowa says that it seems he is destined to watch young men die. Gowa then has a flashback of his past, which takes up the rest of the episode.
Some time in the past, Gowa is living a peaceful life by himself in the country. Kariya approaches Gowa’s residence with a young, rebellious Bountou. Kariya asks Gowa to take care of the youth, and after some persuasive reasoning, Gowa accepts. The youth is introduced as Nao Cain. Before Kariya bids his farewell, he hands Gowa an instruction booklet on how to summon dolls, to be used when Cain is ready to summon his own doll.
Gowa allows Cain to live as a human, making him do chores, run errands etc. Cain, who was at first reluctant to live with Gowa, becomes happy. Gowa buys Cain an expensive jacket, and he becomes targeted by some delinquents. Cain is ready to fight them, but Gowa says that they aren’t opponents worth dirtying his hands on. One of the delinquents then punches Gowa in the stomach, but it has no effect. It was as if the man had punched a brick wall. Another comes with a stick and hits Gowa with it, but it snaps in haf. They then call him a monster and run off.
As Gowa and Cain are about to reach home, the delinquents from before and other villagers come looking for Gowa, carrying peasant weapons and yelling in rage. One even has a rifle. Seeing no other way, Gowa summons his Doll, Daruku. Daruku scares the villagers away.
Some time later, Gowa says that it may be time for Cain to summon his own Doll. Gowa says that he will direct the summoning, but even though Cain agrees, he secretly summons his Doll that night. Gowa awakes from his sleep, aware of what Cain was doing, and rushes to the place where Cain had summoned his Doll. Cain emerges with his new Doll, a tiny green slug-like thing. Cain wants to command the Doll, but Gowa warns him that he is strong enough yet. Cain does not listen and urges the Doll to do something. At first, the Doll says that it’s tired and doesn’t want to do anything. Cain continues to ask though, and the Doll tells him to show him his power. Cain seems troubled, not knowing what he should do, so the Doll says that it’ll test him. As the Doll begins to laugh, Gowa realises what it was going to do. He tries to warn Cain but is too late. The Doll suddenly turns into a huge monster and attacks Cain. After it disappears, Cain staggers toward Gowa, saying that he doesn’t want to die, but he knows that he is already dying. Cain ages rapidly and turns to dust.
It is dawn and Gowa and Kariya are mourning Cain’s death. Kariya is actually crying beside Cain’s grave. The flashback concludes.
Back to Ichigo and Gowa… Gowa tells him that he can’t win, but Ichigo (who has been lying on the ground) gets up in defiance. Gowa says farewell to Ichigo. He orders Daruku to kill him, but before she does, Gowa notices something behind him. It turns out to be Kira Izuru, vice-captain of the 3rd squad Bleach Ep82Kariya sends the Bountou to confront Ichigo and the others, to test there new strength. Renji is struggling with his fight, but the Bitto are withdrawn to make way for the Bountou. Suddenly, Renji collapses and everyone notices that his spirit energy has disappeared. As Ichigo notices this, Ururu and Jinta come running to deliver the finished Bountou sensor. Ururu and Jinta explain that as Urahara was rushed, he wasn’t able to do a very good job on the device. The sensor would only last 15 minutes once it was activated. Ichigo puts the sensor on (which is in the form of a head band) and mutters a few embarrassing lines to turn it on. The sensor activates and begins to drag Ichigo in the direction of the Bountou. Ichigo goes alone as Rukia decides to go after Renji.
Meanwhile, Keigo (one of Ichigo’s friends) has just come out of a convenience store, eating junk food. He runs into the Bitto and gets struck down by them. As the Bitto suck his soul out, Ichigo arrives and destroys them. The remaining Bitto fly away, as Koga Gowa (the large Bountou with headphones around his neck) approaches and quickly summons his Doll, Daruku. As Daruku forms, Ichigo notices that the Doll’s form has changed slightly, which is due to Gowa’s increase in power. Ichigo fights but is easily pummelled.
As the battle continues, Rukia, Ururu and Jinta meet up wit Inoue and Cloud. They plan to split up, but are interrupted by another Bountou. Ichigo continues fighting Daruku, defending Keigo at the same time. Ichigo tells Keigo that he’ll save him, but Keigo responds (which means he can see him, but Ichigo is in his spirit form, so humans shouldn’t be able to see him). Gowa reasons that Keigo must be near death to be able to see Ichigo. Keigo suddenly becomes silent. Ichigo, now enraged, uses the Getsuga Tenshou (one of his special techniques) and cuts Daruku in half. This does nothing as Daruku simply recombines. Ichigo becomes constrained and seemingly uses an explosion of reiastu (spirit energy) to break free.
Ururu finds Chad and Nova and tells them that they should go and help Ichigo. However, they also encounter a Bountou, the old guy with the walking stick.
Back to Ichigo. It seems that Ichigo didn’t explode and was just Ririn’s illusion. Ririn tells Ichigo to run for it, but he insists that he’ll save Keigo. They get discovered and the fight resumes. Daruku forms a web of steel around Ichigo, sealing him inside. Daruku then begins whipping him and laughing evilly. Ichigo drops to his knees, seemingly in defeat. Daruku picks up Ichigo’s soul slayer and tries to stab him. At that moment, something changes in Ichigo. His Hollow side returns! Ichigo easily stops Daruku by grabbing the blade with his bare hands. Gowa and Daruku notice the sudden change in power. Daruku is quickly overwhelmed by Ichigo. Just when it seems like Ichigo is going to win, his Shinigami side retakes control over his body. Ichigo, drained of all his energy, collapses. Daruku then prepares the finishing attack.
Jinta finds Renji unconscious on the ground (he really does care!) Bleach Ep81Ichigo, Rukia, Chad, Renji and Inoune are on the rooftop of the school discussing the Bountou's new Dolls and how it might be related to the recent disappearances. (There is a lot of sitting and discussion in the fillers that are just plain boring). They come to the conclusion that the Dolls are being ordered to attack humans. The discussion leads to Rukia explaining that Urahara (the shop owner and former captain) is developing a more powerful Bountou sensor than the modified souls. Ishida is still depressed about Yoshino's death (the female Bountou).
In a cave somewhere in the forest, Kariya is explaining about the new Dolls and their function. He explains that the Dolls suck out human's souls and brings it back to them. The Bountou question the reason for this as they are capable of doing it themselves. Kariya explains that the Dolls purify the spirit energy that is collected, and once consumed, will greatly enhance ones power. He demonstrates by drinking the spirit energy which resuts in an explosion of power.
The rest of the Bountou agree to try it, but one objects. Kariya beats him up and chains him down, demonstrating his new found strength.
In Soul Society, Hitsugaya Toushiro (10th squad captain - short, looks like a kid, white hair) and a few others are discussing the failure of the covert ops sent to destroy the Dolls. Toushiro then says that they can't rely on just Ichigo and Abarai Renji to take care of the Bountou and orders the Lieutenants to go to the living world themselves.
In Urahara's shop, it seems that the new Bountou sensor has been completed. Urahara, Tessai (the shop helper) and Soi-Fon are discussing a message sent by Yoruichi. "I will continue my investigations in Soul Society for a while, so please be wary of the Bountou's movements," is the message. Soi-Fon also informs Urahara that several military commanders are ut gathering info on the Bountou, but hae yet to get to the core of the problem. Just before leaving, Soi-Fon comments on how terrible it was that Yoruichi had to live in such a pathetic hut, and that is something happens to Yoruichi, he'll regret it. It's interesting because Soi-Fon, Urahara and Yoruichi are captains or former captains. In a previous battle, Yoruichi overcame Soi-Fon, but Urahara's power has yet to be compared with the other captains. Can Soi-Fon defeat Urahara?
Meanwhile...Ichiho, Renji, Rukia, Chad, Orihime and the modified souls are in the park preparing to hunt the Dolls. The Bountou are trying the concentrated spirit energy and seem to be highly pleased with the results. Kariya then forces the Bountou who refused to take part early to drink the spirit energy as well. The Bountou then looks as if he was become insane due to the incomprehendable increase in power. Back to Ichigo. The group search around for signs of the Dolls (or Bitto), but it is Renji who discovers them first. In Urahara's shop, Ishida prepares to seek revenge for Yoshino. Renji is doing his best to protect a young boy from the Bitto, but finds himself overwhelmed by the endless number of Dolls. The ep ends when Renji swears to himself that he will not lose and charges at the Bitto. Bleach Ep80Yes it's still the fillers. I'll give a brief summary on whats been happening.
The Bountou are a different species to humans who live far longer, and are able to summon and control "Dolls", strange beings with special powers. However, the Bountou are infertile, so the number of Bounto that were born long ago still remain the same. The Bountou eat and replenish their energy by absorbing human souls, but long ago a law was established stating that no Bountou could eat a living human's soul. However, recently that law has been broken.
The remaining few Bountou have banded together under their leader Kariya. Kariya wishes to transform the world into a place where the Bounto rule. With the help of one of his comrades, Kariya creates a form of Doll and realeases thousands of them onto the earth. Their purpose is still unknown.
Anyway, the episode is about the three modified souls - Ririn, Cloud and Nova. They come up with traps set to prevent the new Dolls from entering the house, but Kurosaki Ichigo rejects the ideas immediately. Insulted, the modified souls dress up as the new Dolls to pretend they are the enemy. There plan is to look as though they are dominating until they succumb to the traps that they set, thus proving how effective the traps were.
Quite obviously, the plan is an utter failure. The modified souls are beaten and even though they try to let Ichigo know that they are not the enemy, the message doesn't get across and they resort to usng illusions to defeat Ichigo. While it looks like Ichigo and Renji are losing, the modified souls actually get blinded from the traps that they set and fall. Ichigo prepares for the finishing move but stops when Nova appears and explains what had happened.
The rest is just about explaining the situation and everything and then the show ends. Bleach: Summary of EventsKurosaki Ichigo starts off as a normal high school student, but his abnormal amount of spirit energy made him a target of Hollows. Kuchiki Rukia, a Shinigami (or Death God) of the 13 Guardian Squads, transferred all her powers to Ichigo. He became a substitute Shinigami and fought Hollows in place of Rukia. However, this was a serious crime and Kuchiky Byakuya (accompanied by Abarai Renji) came to arrest Rukia.
In order to save Rukia, Ichigo trained under former Squad Captain, Urahara Kisuke. He then travels to Soul Society with Chad (Sado) Yasutora, Inoue Orihime, Yoruichi and Ishida Uuryu. Ichigo defeats Zaraki Kenpachi, one of the Squad Captains, earning himself Captain status. He then proceeds to free Rukia, not knowing several other Captains had sinister plans revolving her, thus postponing their schemes.
And then came the fillers... Bleach: Overviewブリーチ
Year: 2004
Episodes: --
Genre: Action, Martial Arts
Kurosaki Ichigo is a 15 year old boy who can see ghosts. He has lived this since a very young age and is accustomed to this. However, he is also able to see lost, wandering souls called Hollows. The Hollows are attracted to Ichigo's large amount of reiatsu, or spirit energy. He is attacked by a Hollow, which a Shinigami, or Death God, appears and begins to fight it. The Shinigami, called Rukia, becomes wounded and offers Ichigo to transfer some of her powers. Ichigo, knowing that he and his family will constantly be in danger due to their high reiastsu, agrees. Rukia is meant to transfer only some of her powers to Ichigo, but he takes it all, causing Rukia to lose all her powers. Ichigo defeats the Hollow with ease and begins his new life as a substitute Shinigami.
Pretty good series and gets really interesting later on, when they go to Soul Society. The fillers suck bad - the guys who made them stink, the fillers better end soon!!
Note: 'Ichigo' means 'strawberry' in Japanese... I wonder if that was intentional... Rating: 9/10 Sites:
